“You”, “your”, “client” refer to the person making the booking or using our services.
“Services” refer to tours, transport, accommodation, activities and any travel arrangements provided by us.

1. Introduction

These Terms and Conditions apply to all travel services offered on this website by TIL Travel, a tour operator based in Madagascar. By booking any service with us, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully.

2. Booking and Payment

2.1 A booking is confirmed only after we receive the required deposit stated in your quotation.

2.2 Full payment must be made within the time limit indicated on your invoice.

2.3 All prices are in euros (EUR). If you choose to pay in another currency, the exchange rate applied will be the rate on the day your payment is processed. Any additional fees charged by your bank or payment provider for currency conversion are your responsibility.

3. Changes and Cancellations by the Client

3.1 Any request to change or cancel a booking must be sent to us in writing.

4. Changes and Cancellations by the Company

4.1 We reserve the right to modify or cancel any part of your itinerary due to safety issues, weather conditions, operational reasons, or events beyond our control.

4.2 If we cancel your tour, you will receive a refund of payments made, except for services already used or non-refundable supplier costs.

4.3 We will always try to offer a suitable alternative of equal value.

5. Prices and Inclusions

5.1 Prices include the services listed in your confirmed itinerary.

5.2 Prices do not include travel insurance, international flights, visas, personal expenses, or items not mentioned as included.

5.3 Prices may change due to tax adjustments, supplier changes, or currency variations. You will be informed before making final payment.

6. Travel Insurance

6.1 You are responsible for obtaining appropriate travel insurance covering medical care, accidents, theft, cancellations, and personal belongings.

6.2 We are not responsible for costs arising from the lack of insurance.

7. Health, Safety, and Conduct

7.1 You must ensure you are in suitable health for the activities included in your tour.

7.2 You must follow all safety instructions given by our guides and partners.

7.3 We reserve the right to refuse service to any person whose behaviour may endanger themselves, others, or the environment.

8. Visas and Travel Documents

8.1 You are responsible for ensuring your passport, visa, and all required travel documents are valid for your trip to Madagascar. Your passport must be valid for at least six months beyond your departure and have at least two blank pages.

8.2 Most travellers need a tourist visa. Fees apply:

You can apply online at www.evisamada.gov.mg or pay for it on arrival at Madagascar's international airports.

Online applications:
- Complete the application and pay the fee online.
- Obtain a landing permit.
- Present it to the Madagascar Border Police (PAF) on arrival to receive your visa sticker.

On-arrival visas:
- Present your passport, flight details, accommodation address, and proof of onward travel.
- Pay the visa fee at the airport counter.
- Obtain your visa sticker from the PAF.

8.3 We are not responsible for denied entry or delays caused by missing or incorrect documents.

9. Limitation of Liability

9.1 We act in good faith when arranging services with hotels, transport companies, guides, and other suppliers.
