Discover Madagascar’s western region on a journey of adventure and relaxation. Travel through varied landscapes, spot lemurs and unique wildlife, explore striking rock formations, take a river ferry with nights camping, continue by boat along the coast, and finish with time to relax on beaches.Day 1 – Arrival in Antananarivo
Airport pickup and transfer to the hotel. Overview of the tour.
Day 2 – Antananarivo - Morondava
After breakfast, transfer to the airport to take the domestic flight to Morondava. The flight takes about 1 hour. The afternoon will be free time to rest.
Day 3 – Morondava - Bekopaka
Early morning departure for Bekopaka. It’s shaping up to be a long day on this secondary road. After crossing the Tsiribihina River by ferry, we’ll stop for lunch in Belo-sur-Tsiribihina before continuing on to Bekopaka.
Day 4 – Visit of Tsingy de Bemaraha
After breakfast at the hotel, we'll set out for a tour of Tsingy de Bemaraha National Park. This tour lasts about half a day. The afternoon will be free-time to visit the village of Bekopaka.
Day 5 – Bekopaka - Morondava
After breakfast, departure to return to Morondava. We’ll stop for lunch in Belo-sur-Tsiribihina before continuing our journey to catch the sunset at the Avenue of the Baobabs.
Day 6 – Morondava - Belo Sur Mer
After breakfast, transfer by boat to Belo-sur-Mer. The trip takes about 3 hours. The afternoon will be free time to enjoy the beach and meet the locals.
Day 7 – Belo Sur Mer - Andavadoaka
After breakfast, departure by boat to Andavadoaka. The trip is a bit long, but we can take breaks to admire the coastal scenery along the way.
Day 8 – Andavadoaka
A free-time day to enjoy the beach in Andavadoaka
Day 9 – Andavadoaka - Ifaty
After breakfast, transfer by boat to Ifaty. The afternoon will be free time to relax. You’ll have the opportunity to visit the Vezo fishing village on this day.
Day 10 – Ifaty - Toliara - Antananarivo
After breakfast, transfer to the Toliara airport to take your domestic flight to Antananarivo. Upon arrival, enjoy some free time to relax.
Day 11 – International departure
After breakfast, departure for souvenir shopping in the city and to explore Queen's palace Rova Manjakamiadana. Lunch will be in city centre restaurant before transfer to the international airport according to your flight schedule. End of the trip.
